The Mechanically Functioning Prides

It was a busy weekend for me, so I didn't get to spend as much time out in the shop as I would have liked. Still, I was able to make a little progress on the Pride knives. Here are a few pics of the weekend progress.

As the post title suggests, I was able to get the locks and detents in place for each of the two knives. Here is a pic showing a nice, early lockup. At this stage, the pivots are installed, the locks have been fitted up, and the detent features have been installed, I call this stage of the build mechanically functional, meaning that the knife opens and closes with all stops in place.

Here is the first full assembly of the knives. The next step is to refine the profile down to the final shape.

And here is where the knives are at this point in time. I've refined the profiles and ground everything down to 220 grit. The next step will be to contour the handles for a comfortable grip, but, that will have to keep until next week. Thanks for following along with me on this build.
